1. Who is a Nurse Practitioner (NP) 
A Nurse Practitioner, also known as an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN), is a clinician with masters or doctoral preparation, who is licensed to diagnose, treat patients and as well as prescribe medications.

2. Do you conduct virtual visits for children and adolescents as well?

We offer psychiatric consultations and medication managements for adults, and also for children ages 12 and above. 


3.How does a Virtual Visit work?
Your visits are done using safe electronic means such as computer or smart mobile devices through a secured HIPAA-compliant audio/visual software platform. 

 

4. What are some common psychiatric disorders that you treat?

Depression, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Social Anxiety, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Insomnia, ADHD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, PTSD, Psychosis and more. 

 

5. Do you offer an hour long traditional psychotherapy/counseling?

Although we provide some talk therapy during the medication management visits, we currently do NOT offer an hour long traditional psychotherapy now but we are looking to add that to our services in the future. 


6.  Do you accept Insurance?

Additionally, we are partnered with Alma, which provides billing and scheduling services for our practice. Alma processes our claims and will bill for co-pays. Therefore, all patients are required to provide an active credit card to be stored on file for auto-billing of co-payments and deductibles.

We also accept private pay as well.  For out of network services/benefits, you will be provided with a superbill that you can submit to your insurance carrier.
 
7. What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept almost all major credit cards. Payments is due prior to services. 

8. What is your cancellation policy?

If you are unable to attend a session, please give us at least 24-48 hours notice. Otherwise, you may be charged for the full rate of the session.
